Manufatti in cemento Objects in cement Crea Concrete Design was established in 1997 by the Piccinelli family, which had operated for generations in the finest tradition of building between Bergamo and Brescia. After many years of experience in cement processing, the company began to specialise in construction products and subsequently reduced its scale to smaller ones, eventually moving into industrial design circles as a supplier to numerous upmarket firms including Alessi, Foscarini, Cassina, Flos e Technogym. Whilst making objects in cement entirely by hand, Crea Concrete Design is also distinguished for its engineered series production and expertise in creating cement mixtures for the widest variety of uses.

La trama e l’ordito (the weft and the warp), design LPWK-Desall-Luca Galbusera, made by Crea Concrete Design for Alessi, 2014. The texture echoes plaiting and weaving processes. The design won the #Concrete in Design international award, led by LPWK Design Studio in collaboration with Alessi and Italcementi.
